396 A novel investigator global assessment score for the evaluation of keratosis pilaris

This study aims to develop and validate an investigator global assessment score (IGA) for keratosis pilaris (KP), a highly prevalent, benign, follicular disorder, standardize disease assessment. To our knowledge, there is currently no scoring system KP. A composite IGA score, Keratosis Pilaris Area Index (KPAI), was created compared 0-4 defined KP known as KP-IGA. validation done determine the interrater intrarater reliability of through one-day exercise with 15 patients 9 assessors. Both KPAI KP-IGA demonstrated excellent good intraclass correlation coefficients greater than 0.9 0.8 respectively performing better in both categories. As first developed validated systems KP, show promising results reliability. By standardizing evaluation these scores can be used clinical settings research objectively measure severity consequently efficacy new treatments therapies.
